As a Lead Mathematical Statistician in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Division of Biometrics II, you will plan, coordinate, and evaluate the mathematical statistical review activities of drugs (including generic drugs) and therapeutical biological products.

  • Plans, coordinates, and evaluates drug review and statistical activities of the division.
  • Represents the Division, Office, and Center on matters in the statistical discipline.
  • Plans and establishes program goals and objectives for the team.
  • Develops valid statistical approaches and makes final decisions that become Division policy and procedure.
  • Advises and trains team members on statistical research, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Leads or serves as a member of Division task forces and study groups in the area of statistical expertise.
