As a Biologist in the Office of Medical Products and Tobacco, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, you will perform a full range of research experiments involving viral diseases and perform responsibilities in support of the laboratory.

  • Performs biological research studies for the Center of Biologics Evaluations and Research (CBER).
  • Develops and/or modifies methods and procedures for conducting experimentation.
  • Analyzes and interprets results of experiments and determines their validity.
  • Trains other on the methods, procedures, and equipment used in the laboratory.
  • Review and provide scientific and regulatory guidance.
  • Conduct regulatory review of analytical methods, test method validations, interpretation of federal regulations, and scientific writing.
  • Prepare comprehensive summaries of data for biologic products.
  • Submit recommendations and conclusions for review and approval.
