Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

This position is located in the Plans & Resource Flight, ANG Wing/Group Flying Activity, Air Traffic Control Flight, not collocated with other Combat Communication units. Its purpose is to provide maintenance management guidance and controls in accordance with various directives to coordinate the planning and scheduling of maintenance workload. Develops and operates a quality assurance program in compliance with Air Force directives for local use. The specialty knowledge of electronics is required.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE NOTE Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. An applicants RESUME must provide in detail how they meet each specialized experience bullet listed below. Must have at least 24 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Preparing job or work orders; scheduling various
phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is
progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine
processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes.
2. Experience with current automation support
programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order
status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts
Military Requirements Military skill set is determined by
AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection,
individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance
with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain
all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
