To qualify for the Administrative Services Specialist, you must meet one of the following requirements as define.
A. You have 2 full year of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Such fields include business administration, industrial management, industrial engineering, industrial psychology, public administration, political science, or government. -OR
B. You have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 in the Federal service performing the following duties: 1) gather information, identify and analyze issues with purchase orders or contracts and develop recommendations to resolve routine problems; 2) inspect purchase orders and travel documents for accuracy and compliance; 3) provide status updates; and 4) prepare reports. -OR
C. You have some specialized experience as described in B, but less than 1 year; and have some graduate education but less than 2 years of education as described in A, and have computed the percentage of the requirements needed, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education completed in excess of the first year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify).
