Duties

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for enforcing Federal criminal and civil laws that protect life, liberty, and the property of citizens.Typical work assignments will include:

  • Operating office machines such as copiers, scanners and fax machines;
  • Answering phones and referring callers to appropriate staff members;
  • Performing messenger functions;
  • Preparing basic legal documents and other written materials using a wide range of office software applications;
  • Maintaing an office filing system and locating filed materials based on knowledge of the office filing systems;
  • Helping to prepare cases for trial.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
