About the Agency
Become a part of our mission to maintain and strengthen the vitality of the US science and engineering enterprise. For over 60 years, the National Science Foundation (NSF) has remained the premier Federal agency supporting basic research at the frontiers of discovery across all fields, as well as science and engineering education at all levels.
The NSF is seeking candidates for a Program Director position within the Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers (I/UCRC) in the Division of the Industrial Innovation and Partnerships (IIP), Directorate for Engineering (ENG), Arlington, VA.
The Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers (I/UCRC) program is one of the major responsibilities of this Division. The I/UCRC program stimulates industrial support of university research through the establishment of Centers that create long-term collaboration between the university and industry in research areas of high mutual interest. Most Centers have an interdisciplinary research program to be responsive to the problems faced by industry.
More information about IIP and its Programs can be found at http:/www.nsf.gov/div/index.jsp?div=iip.
