Qualifications must be met by the Closing Date: You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by Monday, June 16, 2014.
To qualify at the GS-07 grade level, you must meet one of the following options:
A) Have one
or more years of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05
Federal grade level that equipped me with the particular knowledges, skills,
and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Examples of
specialized experience include: under close supervision, managing the flow of
material into and out of a warehouse; under close supervision, utilizing an
automated system to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of material
goods; under close supervision, placing orders for shipping supplies; and under
close supervision, adjusting work procedures to accommodate the resources
B) Have successfully completed
one full academic year of graduate level education that demonstrates the
knowledges, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of this
position. (You must provide transcripts to qualify under this condition.)
C) Have a combination of specialized experience and education. To compute the formula for qualifying under this combination, first determine the percentage of the specialized experience you possess; then determine the percentage of the education you possess (note: only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable); then add the two percentages; they must equal to 100 percent to qualify. (You must provide transcripts to qualify under this condition.)
D) Have completed an undergraduate degree AND meet one of the following criteria
for Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) at the undergraduate level: 1) Class
standing - Graduated in the upper third of the class based on completed courses
in the college, university or major subdivision; 2) Grade Point Average - 2.95
or higher out of a possible 4.0 scale as recorded on official transcript, or as
computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses
completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher on a 4.0
scale based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field
or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years
of curriculum; or 3) Election to membership in a national scholastic honor
society. Provide documented proof of your GPA, Class Standing or Honor Society
membership with your application. Refer to

To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, you must meet one of the following options:
one or more years of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07,
Federal grade level that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and
abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Examples of
specialized experience include managing the flow of material into and out of a
warehouse; utilizing an automated system to manage the receipt, storage, and
distribution of material; placing orders for shipping supplies; and adjusting
work procedures to accommodate the resources available.
B) Have completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree, OR two full
academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such
a degree, that demonstrates the knowledges, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of this position. (You must provide transcripts to qualify under this condition.)
C) Have a combination of specialized experience as described in "A"
above and graduate education as described in "B" above which, when
combined, is equivalent to 100% of the requirement. Note: To compute this
quantity, first determine your amount of specialized experience as a percentage
of the experience requirement above; then, determine your amount of graduate
education as a percentage of the education requirement above. Add the two
percentages. The total percentage must equal to at least 100% to qualify under
this option. You must provide transcripts to qualify under this condition.

Part-Time or Unpaid Experience: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid work on the same basis as for paid experience. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. To receive credit for such experience you must indicate clearly the nature of the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the number of hours per week spent in such employment.

- Background Investigation: You will need to successfully complete a background investigation before appointed into the position.
- Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a one year probationary period.
- Time in Grade (TIG): Current employees, Transfer and/or Reinstatement Eligibles must have a minimum of 52 weeks at the next lower grade GS-grade level to be eligible under Merit Promotion. An SF-50 must be provided which shows your current pay plan/series/grade to verify time-in-grade requirements are met. Failure to provide an appropriate SF-50 will result in an ineligible rating.
- Relocation Expenses: Relocation expenses are NOT authorized for this position.
- Promotion Potential: The selectee for this position may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
