The Extramural Administrative Management Branch (EAMB) advises Extramural Programs staff regarding administrative policies and practices.EAMB responsibilities include: providing overall administrative support services to the Extramural Programs, including budget, personnel, procurement, space management, travel, and property accountability; and analyzing the effects of changes in administrative policies and practices by organizational levels above the NIAID and advising the Executive Officer of these effects.

If you are selected for this position your responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and evaluating, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
Developing timely and executable plans of action for assigned programs.
Maintaining and monitoring integrated reporting systems for assigned programs.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-09:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: assisting in evaluating the effectiveness or efficiency of programs; providing support for program planning and analysis activities; using integrated reporting systems; assisting in reviewing information and analyses of findings.
Have completed a Masters or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D., if related.
Have a combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
