This position is located in the Senate Office Buildings, Elevator and Subway Branch, Evening Subway section which is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Senate subway system.
-Performs electromotive equipment and mechanical maintenance and repairs. Maintenance and repair work involves training in, and development of, journey level skills and knowledge of the trade
-Operates the central control room of the Hart to Capitol subway system, assisting with problem identification and diagnosis.
-Manually operates the Russell to Capitol Senate subway cars.
The incumbent will gradually perform progressively more responsible duties to meet optimum performance requirements.
