Duties

The following list of duties is not conclusive but provides a brief snapshot of the duties that may be required for this position:  A copy of the complete position description is available in the Human Resource Office.

 

DUTIES: Researches, analyzes, develops, implements, and evaluates aviation, aviation safety, and aviation life support equipment(ALSE) educational and accident prevention programs. Serves as primary ARNG aviation educational consultant and advisor to the ARNG and aviation training staffs. Initiates appropriate action to ensure training program objectives are achieved and that existing or projected program deficiencies are eliminated. Researches, coordinates procurement, reviews and analyzes external training materials/programs within the DOD, governmental, and commercial structure for applicability, appropriateness, and cost effectiveness to the ARNG aviation, aviation safety, and ALSE programs. Conducts statistical research of aviation safety problems and trends to determine causal factors appropriate for educational countermeasure programs.
