This position is located in the Human Capital Office, Naval History and Heritage Command, Washington Naval Yard, DC. This position provides training and assistance to training coordinators on the use of Total Workforce management System and inputs or coordinates the input of training requirements into the system. Provide training information to employees and/or training coordinators and resolve any problems with cancellations or schedules.


Serves as the Performance (Training) Management Coordinator for the Naval History and Heritage Command.  Provides training and assistance to NHHC staff on use of the Total Workforce Management System (TWMS) and coordinates the input of training requirements into the system.   Participates in all phases of planning, implementing and administering a training program, which is responsive to the immediate and long-range needs and goals of the installation. Analyzes overall installation training program and validates local programming, budgeting of funds and training requirements. Provides management with periodic reports on the status of training and an analysis of the effectiveness and capacity of the training program to achieve Command objectives and policies.  Coordinates the nomination, selection and on-boarding process for interns and volunteers.
