This position is located in the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), Office of Technology Transfer and Development (OTTAD). OTTAD oversees and supports all technology transfer activities at the NHLBI. OTTAD's primary mission is to enable NHLBI's intramural researchers to interact more effectively with their counterparts in the private sector and in academia. The office works with NHLBI intramural investigators to establish collaborative relationships that further develop their existing technologies, allowing them to share their technologies with outside laboratories, or create new technologies in collaboration with others with the ultimate goal of benefitting the public health, particularly by decreasing the frequency and severity of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases in the population.
