In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Experience with an in-depth knowledge of and skill in applying a standard body of military personnel duties, regulations, procedures and operations concerning the preparation of enrollment and contract documents to maintain and update military record jackets for ROTC cadets, and to perform military functions in support of unit military cadre. 2) Experience with the ROTC organization and functions of the Detachment sufficient to provide regulatory guidance and program eligibility information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
- Knowledge of Military Personnel Rules and Regulations
- Knowledge of Office Automation Software
- Knowledge of organization structure
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations
