This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Acquisition & Grants Management (OAGM), Acquisition Business & Services Group (ABSG), Division of Quality Assurance and Technology (DQAT), in Woodlawn, MD.

Working in the Office of Acquisition & Grants Management (OAGM), Acquisition Business & Services Group (ABSG), Division of Quality Assurance and Technology (DQAT) you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (Application Software) performing a variety of Information Technology (IT) related applications and systems development, technical support, operations and maintenance, reporting, and project management.  Specifically you will:

 

- Provide technological support for the operation and maintenance of Compusearch PRISM version 7.1 or higher.

 

- Provide technological support for the operation and maintenance of ORACLE databases in an enterprise environment.

 

- Manage acquisition information systems within the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Information Technology data processing standards. 

 

- Develop written standards and operational procedures for staff to improve Information Technology system operations.

 

- Respond in writing to Information Technology inquiries from users about resolving system issue.

You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientiously attends to detail.

2. In order to qualify at the GS-13, you must meet the following:

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Government which includes:  (1) Utilizing Compusearch PRISM version 7.1 or higher, to support for the operation and maintenance; (2) Operating and provide technical support to maintain acquisition tools/systems for the agency (e.g., such as Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation (FPDS-NG), Help desk software, and Microsoft Office Suite; (3) Providing technical support for the integration of PRISM/CAMS with other applications and US Treasury electronic vouchering system (IPP); and (4) Analyzing systems to ensure systems and processes are compliant with applicable standards and regulations such as Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and Investment Lifecycle (ILC) standards.
