DUTIES:Serves as the Wing Information Protection Program Manager executing/enforcing all operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of the program.   Makes information protection risk assessments and risk management/mitigation strategies/recommendations based on intelligence-derived threat issues that may require deviations from or synthesis of policies.  Delivers, Security Awareness and education Programs to satisfy security education and training requirements.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:  Experience, education or training that has provided analytical, decision making, or administrative skills which demonstrates the candidates ability to accomplish the work of an organization.  This experience must demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and successfully with others. 

 

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:  Must have 36 months months of experience, education or training which provided the candidate knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to review independently analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems.

KNOWLEDGE of a broad range of security program relationships, and proficiency in information, personnel and industrial security to effectively implement and administer applicable security programs and/or coordinate with other specialized security programs.

 

ABILTIY to provide policy direction to contractors and government officials.

 

ABILTIY to develop guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situations and various levels of security controls.

 

Knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, and eligibility for access to classified or sensitive information to review plans for proposed or new projects, organizations, and/or missions to assure the presence of adequate planning for information security and other controls.

 

Ability to plan and carry out reviews plans for proposed or new projects, organizations, and /or missions to assure the presence of adequate planning for information security and other controls.
