Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05/07/09/ grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
GS07:At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level performing duties such as: managing an office and advising officials regarding office operations; working with an office budget, ensuring that the funds are utilized effectively and legally; Researching and analyzing information dealing with compliance issues, procedures, and policies; Inspecting operations to ensure compliance; working with systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS), that track expenditures. OR 1 full year of graduate level education related to this position or a Bachelors degree with superior academic achievement.
GS09: At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level performing duties such as: Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to problems concerning program operations; collecting and analyzing data to prepare reports and briefings; researching and applying laws, regulations, policies and precedents that affect program and support resources, and working with systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS), that track expenditures. OR have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree In a related field.
GS11: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level performing the following duties: planning, scheduling and conducting studies to evaluate compliance and recommend ways to improve work operations; identifying root causes of issues and recommending solutions; and conducting inspections and investigations, and working with systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS) that track expenditures.OR have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree or have completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M if related to the position.
