This is an open continuous vacancy which will expire on April 9, 2015. The initial cut-off date will be April 23, 2014. Additional cut-off dates will be determined as needed.
This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS). This system replaced the Federal GS pay plan and structure. Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band. The ZT-3 is equivalent to the GS-09/10 grade level with promotion potential to the ZT-4 (GS-11/12).

Conditions of Employment
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- This position is a non-bargaining position.
: Must be able to work rotating shifts in a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year environment.NOTE:

The individual(s) selected for these positions will:
- Participate in formal training and assignments.
- Execute schedules to provide environmental data from satellites.
- Maintain technical records.
- Monitor health and safety of multi-satellite constellations.
- Provide technical support in a real-time environment.
- Apply basic research.
- Occasional Travel
