This position is located in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Office of Pesticide Programs, Biopesticide and Pollution Prevention Division, Microbial Pesticides Branch, in Arlington, VA.

At the entry level of this position you will:
- Participate in reviewing pesticide application packages for completeness conducting reviews to determine the nature and extent of further work.
- Prepare review documents such as Data Evaluation Records (DERs) and risk assessments to convey the reliability of data and estimations of toxicity and exposure of naturally occurring and genetically engineered microbial pesticides and plant incorporated protectants (PIPs).
- Attend meetings with registrants, industry representatives, scientists, and EPA staff and managers concerning the administrative and technical aspects of pesticide registrations and related activities.
When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
