DUTIES: D1048000 (GS-06) - Processes a wide range of human resources transactions and provides technical assistant in executing related to employee relations, employee benefits, recruitment and placement, classification, and/or compensation program. Provides guidance and assistance to supervisors, managers, and employees on a variety of HR matters, to include resolving minor employee problems. Provides assistance in executing the employee benefits program. Provides administrative and clerical support for incentive awards and performance appraisal programs. Verifies information and requests for job vacancy announcements to ensure correctness and completeness.
D1047000 (GS-07) - Processes a wide range of human resources transactions related to recruitment and placement, classification, employee relations, human resource development, and/or incentive awards. Provides technical assistance in the area of recruitment and placement. Assists classification specialist by performing job audits and making classification determinations on a variety of clerical, and technical occupations (GS-07 and below) and Wage Grade occupations where standards clearly apply. Provides technical assistance in executing the employee relations program. Provides assistance to the Human Resources Development Specialist.
