    Provides advice and guidance, including interpretations, opinions, or decisions, regarding programs or policies. Consultations involve assessment of program or policy conditions, phenomena, or anomalies.

    Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals, measures, and objectives. Designs and/or maintains methods, approaches, and processes to implement the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), and provides a means for the agency to analyze its resources in relation to its performance results.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    Ability to analyze current or projected sex offender registration/notification programs.

    Ability to provide advice and guidance on sex offender management issues for states, territories and tribes.

    Knowledge of the principles and techniques of sex offender registration, notification and management of this population of offenders. .

    Ability to provide program management advice and assistance on sex offender registration and notification.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Demonstrated working knowledge, experience and proficiency in interpreting and applying the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act, Title I of the Adam Walsh Act.

    MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Grade 14:

    Qualifying experience for the GS-14 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-13 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

    HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED: Your application will be evaluated and rated under DOJ/OJP Category Rating and Selection Procedures. Your resume and supporting documentation will be used to determine whether you meet the job qualifications listed on this announcement.     REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
