NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the New York Air National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
This position is located at the 174th ATKW, Field Training Detachment, DET 28, Hancock Field, Syracuse, New York.

STATEWIDE: ALL MILITARY TECHNICIANS IN THE NEW YORK AIR NATIONAL GUARD, ALL MEMBERS OF THE NEW YORK AIR NATIONAL GUARD (INCLUDES AGR).
The primary purpose of this position is to instruct and lead Air Force aircraft maintenance students by devising and implementing training plans, guidelines and procedures, reports and assessments for the unit and individuals assigned. Ensures training is conducted in accordance with Air Education and Training Command (AETC) doctrine. Prepares training guidelines, maintains training guidance and documents as required by AETC.
