The incumbent serves as a Management and Program Assistant to manage the office's administrative functions. Provides support to supervisors, managers and other employees in day-to-day operations; which may include several of the following areas: fiscal management, travel, management information systems, contract administration, property management, procurements, and overall office management. Prepares administrative articles, reports, and briefing items. applies experience and detailed knowledge to plan and accomplish assignments for projects/programs. Performs tasks independently. Plans, coordinates,and accomplishes workload, which includes multiple assignments and priorities that support a variety of internal organizations. Uses a wide variety of computer programs and software applications, including CRU-X, eLmS, and GovTrip,Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Lotus Notes . Utilizes a variety of financial applications such as DELPHI, REGIS, PRISM, PCPS, ets., as well as Excel to analyze, trouble shoot and problem solve. Serves as a liaison between other offices, internal and external to ATO, including Service Centers and FAA headquarters. Assists and advises managers and administrative personnel on records and files maintenance. Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

To qualify for this position at the FV-D (FG/GS 3-6) you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 3 months of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Education: Successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. To qualify based on education you must submit a copy of your high school or college transcripts or certificates.

To qualify for the FV-E (FG/GS 7-8) band you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-D (FG/GS 3-6). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For the FV-E band, specialized experience may include but is not limited to: compiling and tracking data, maintaining records, preparing travel orders and reviewing travel vouchers, purchasing office supplies or equipment, processing time and attendance records, providing standard information to other employees or customers on administrative policies, or compiling and consolidating information and preparing reports for review.

Education cannot be substituted for experience at the FV-E.

To qualify for the FV-F (FG/GS 9-10) band you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E (FG/GS 7-8). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: analyzing information on a variety of programs and preparing reports, providing guidance and interpretation of administrative, financial, or budget policies, assisting with various analytical studies

Education cannot be substituted for experience at the FV-F Level.

4. Ability to analyze, validate and correlate data as well as interpret and apply procedures, regulations and policies

The salary listed is for an employee working a full-time permanent work schedule. Salary for part-time employees is based propotionately on time worked. Basic pay is the employee's hourly rate of basic pay multiplied by the hours worked during the pay period.
