BASIC REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelors' or higher level degree in a major study in an academic field related to the health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position from an accredited university. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through federal service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as: 1) ensuring health and medical programs delivering health services meet national standards of compliance with federal and applicable state practice laws and regulations pertaining to services provided; 2) implementing recommendations to improve chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) health preparedness capabilities; and 3) providing oversight of fiscal management of a program. NOTE: To be found qualified for this position, your resume must provide sufficient detail to show that you have one year experience performing these duties.

Background Investigation: To ensure the accomplishment of its mission, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires each and every employee to be reliable and trustworthy. - Well-Qualified: Applicants possessing a background that demonstrates a satisfactory level of the evaluation criteria.
- Qualified: Applicants possessing the basic qualifications, with general knowledge, skills, and abilities.
