- Serves as primary administrative support to the Chama Field Division. FREQUENTLY WORKS ALONE IN THE OFFICE;
- Performs property, procurement, personnel, travel, budget, timekeeping etc. for the office;
- Prioritzes and organizes work to ensure deadlines are met;
- Sustains collaborative working relationships; keeps manager informed on matters of importance, coordinates with others and assists visitors, callers and staff in administrative matters;
- Monitors a computerized master station (SCADA) and retrives and inputs data for water delivery;
- Receives, reviews and enters stream guaging data and provides support to field staff in this duty.

To qualify for the GS-6 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 level in the federal service.
Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience can be further defined as providing clerical or administrative support to an office. This experience may have been gained as a Secretary, Office Assistant, Clerk or other support position.

HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:

Category rating and selection procedures will be used for evaluating this position. If you meet the basic qualification requirements, your on-line responses to the vacancy assessment questionnaire will be used to determine the quality and extent of your experience, education, training, etc., for placement in one of the following categories:
1) Best Qualified, 2) Well Qualified and 3) Qualified. Qualified candidates will be assigned a numerical score on a scale of 70-100 and Veterans with preference will be placed at the top of their respective category. The assessment questionnaire will take you approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Applicants will be further evaluated on the following "Knowledge, Skill and Abilities (KSAs)" through your resume and responses to the online questions.

WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT:
