AREA OF CONSIDERATION:

AREA I:  All New Jersey National Guard (NJNG) Technicians

AREA II:  All Members of the NJNG

AREA III:  All personnel eligible for membership in the NJARNG

 

If a New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG) member is selected, the person must transfer to the NJARNG, and may be required to attend U.S. Army Basic Training.  Applicant may contact an Army National Guard Recruiter.

 

If the individual selected is currently on a title 10 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour.

MILITARY POSITION:  Any Aviation unit in the New Jersey Army National Guard.

 

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP STATUS:  Employment in this position requires concurrent military assignment to a compatible military position in the New Jersey National Guard in one of the following military specialty codes:

OBR: MUST HAVE 15 (Excludes 150A and 151A)

 

LEVEL OF CLEARANCE/INVESTIGATION:  MUST HAVE A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Duties

The following list of duties is not conclusive but provides a brief snapshot of the duties that may be required for this position:  A copy of the complete position description is available in the Human Resource Office.

 

DUTIES:  Plans and implements flight and academic training and instruction for rated pilots and non-rated crew members  in accordance with the individual needs.  May conduct refresher, mission, and continuation training in unit assigned utility helicopters.
