MAJOR DUTIES: Plans on a quarterly orlonger basis, the overall use of subordinate personnel and resources under their control. Assigns and explains work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors, sets deadlines, and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed. Assures that subordinate supervisors effectively carry out policies to achieve management objectives. Develops, publishes, and ensures employee compliance with standing operating procedures for the activity supervised. Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.
