If you are looking for an exciting career challenge, the Atlanta VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Atlanta, GA is searching for a Psychiatrist, Nurse, Clinical Psychologist or Social Worker for Chief, Mental Health Service Line.
The Atlanta VAMC has 405 authorized inpatient beds (273 hospital, 120 Community Living Center and 12 PRRTP) and is a tertiary care facility classified as a Complexity Level 1A facility. The Atlanta VAMC is a teaching hospital, affiliated with Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine, providing a full range of patient care services complete with state-of-the-art technology, education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through emergency medicine, primary care, tertiary care, and long-term care in the areas of medicine, surgery, mental health, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics, and extended care.
The Atlanta VAMC is part of the VA Southeast Network (VISN 7), which includes facilities in Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. The facility also serves as a prosthetics treatment center, fabricating and supplying mechanical devices such as artificial limbs for patients within the states of Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama.
NOTE: Applicant's education and length of practice (experience) will be considered by a Professional Standards Board and Compensation Panel in determining the salary of the applicant selected.

- Not Required
- BSN Required; Master degree or higher in nursing or related field required.
- 4-5 years of successful RN experience required.
- Experience in managing multiple services/departments concurrently.
- Energetic and passionate about working with staff and Veterans!!!
- Significant experience in Mental Health required.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, VA standards required.
