This position require military membership as an Officer or Warrant Officer in the Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG). If you are not an Officer or Warrant Officer of the PRARNG (i.e. civilian, active duty Soldier, prior service, guard member from another state, reservist/IRR, etc.), you must contact the Recruiting and Retention (R&R) Office at 787-367-7954 and request the PRARNG Military Basic Requirements (MBR) Certification. If the MBR certification is not submitted, or you do not meet the requirements to be an Officer or Warrant Officer of the PRARNG, your application will not be screened. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
Area 1 = Permanent technicians Officers and Warrant Officers currently employed in the Puerto Rico Army National Guard.
Area 2 = Officers and Warrant Officers of the Puerto Rico Army National Guard and personnel that meet all requirements to become an Officer or Warrant Officer in the Puerto Rico Army National Guard. (This position requires Army National Guard membership).

First round consideration will be given to Area 1 Candidates. (Area 2 Candidates will be screened only in the event that there are no qualified or recommended Area 1 Candidates).

The purpose of this position is to serve as the chief of an information management division/branch. The organization provides support for the assigned portion of the command, control, communications and computers (C4) program. Manage a organization located in one of the information management organizations in the state, which provides system administration, database administration, software application development and customer support for a wide variety of standardized information management applications used throughout the state.
