Summary

The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) is the central facility for the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of scientific and technical information (STI) supporting the Research and Engineering (R&E) needs of the Department of Defense (DoD).

DTIC provides leading edge information services and products to the DoD community and is a recognized leader in information and knowledge management innovations.

Duties

• Advises customers on the policies and procedures governing time and attendance administrative processes.
• Runs and prints missing time reports biweekly, ensuring all employee time and attendance are input into DCPS.
• Serves as employee customer liaison between DTIC employees, DFAS, and DCPS Payroll Office for payroll-related functions regarding pay, leave, and labor transactions processes and procedures.
• Provides support to Training Manager by serving as on-site training coordinator.
• Maintains records of all purchases made; reconciles the Monthly Cardholder Statement, and provides information to the Authorizing Official for reconcilement of the account.
• Reviews and analyzes all invalid transactions and makes the necessary corrections in DCPS.
• Initiates and reviews request for personnel actions (RPAs) and logs into tracking system.
