The Computer Assistant - Automation Support Technician, reports to one of three team leads in the Copyright Technology Office of Copyright. This position is located in the Copyright Technology Office of Copyright. The position description number for this position is 262259. The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. The incumbent of this position will work a flextime work schedule. The Computer Assistant - Automation Support Technician incumbent is responsible for supporting the work of the Copyright Office by efficiently installing, testing, evaluating and assisting with workstations throughout the Copyright Office, providing technical customer support, and assisting with various tasks related to Information Technology Operations. As part of the Information Technology Service Operations team, the Computer Assistant is responsible for assuring the highest level of quality and security for Copyright desktops, applications, and systems. While performing technical administration and support activities, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring proper handling and security of all Library and Copyright Office materials.
