This position is located in the Office of Research and Development, National Center for Environmental Assessment, Exposure Analysis and Risk Characterization Group, in Arlington, VA.

Duties

You will:

- Provide technical leadership for environmental, ecological, and casual assessments.

- Advance the state of the science for conducting scientific assessments and studies.

- Evaluate potential impacts on water resources, with emphasis on energy extraction and production.

- Design and implement studies of the impacts of water availability on drinking water and aquatic resources. 

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
