Coordinates information for the formulation, revision, and execution of annual organizational budget projections. Analyzes problems as they relate to fiscal management and program operations of the organization. Reviews work metrics, unit costs, rate structure, job validity, and production indices in support of fiscal and managerial policies and procedures.

Maintains a records management program for an agency organization or program.

Performs program cost analyses, such as developing life cycle or other cost analyses of projects, or performing cost-benefit or economic evaluations of programs. Conducts analyses of requirements to ensure that resources (workforce, facilities, and equipment) are appropriately planned for and utilized. Advises on the potential benefits and uses of automation to improve the efficiency of a cost recovery operation.

Plans, administers, and evaluates productivity programs.

Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.

Ability to communicate in writing.

Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate records management program activities.

Knowledge of research and analysis techniques to perform management-related studies.

Ability to analyze current or projected operating programs.

Knowledge of the rules, regulations, and practices related to productivity programs.

Ability to plan and execute work.

MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifying experience for the FP-05 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the FP-07 or GS-7 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Example includes correcting problems affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: The experience requirement for the FP-05 level may be met by two (2) full academic years of graduate level education or completion of all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree.

COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.

This is an Excepted Service Appointment. Initial appointments to the Peace Corps normally are for 60 months (5 years). Employees are paid on the Foreign Service pay scale and receive the same benefits as other Federal employees. A background security investigation will be required for all hires. Appointment will be subject to the applicant's successful completion of a background security investigation and favorable adjudication. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will be grounds for termination.
