Office of Administrative Services
The Office of Administrative Services encompasses Human Resources Management, Office of the Chief Information Officer, and Security and Administrative Services. Internships are in a wide variety of areas and duties may include working in data processing and assisting personnel management activities.

OPIC is seeking an intern to work in its Human Resources Management Office. Some of the duties that a Human Resources Management intern may perform include: Conducting various research assignments, analyzing information and preparing presentations in various formats (spreadsheets, charts, graphs, narrative, etc.); Preparing correspondence, developing organization charts, and responding to requests for information; Providing budgetary and financial management support to HRM policy staff; Scanning and organizing classification documents electronically and in paper format; Providing logistical support for meetings, training events, and an agency wide health-fair.
Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills will be an attribute; as well as, having the initiative and ability to work independently. Advanced PC skills in spreadsheets, powerpoint and word-processing software packages; especially, Microsoft Windows and Office products. Superior writing, research, and communication skills.
Students with an interest in a human resource environment, learning about the administrative, business and personnel area of a busy 200+ person agency are invited to apply.

All internships are NON-PAID. The student is considered a volunteer and is not entitled to compensation or overtime during any portion of this assignment. However, a transportation benefit may be provided depending on availability of funds.
