The Peace Corps Country Director (CD) plans and directs all aspects of the Peace Corps program in the country of assignment.
The Country Director ensures that day-to-day operations create an environment for Volunteers and staff to work successfully and perform their duties and responsibilities.
The Country Director is the senior Peace Corps representative in the country of assignment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Volunteer Support: Program Development, Training, Logistical Systems, Health Care, Safety and Security
Community Based Development: Project Development, Implementation and Support
Multicultural (Intercultural) Effectiveness
Administration: Policy Formulation/Implementation, Human Resources, Financial Management, Budgeting, Logistical/Transportation Support and Physical Facilities
I certify that I have four years of management experience with responsibilities for budget, staff of at least 15, organizational policy implementation and outcome measures. If so, you must describe this experience in your Work History.
I certify that I have two years of successful experience in a leadership position in a multicultural environment. If so, you must describe this experience in the Intercultural Effectiveness essay question.
MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Though Federal qualifications do not apply to this position, applicants will be evaluated based on the competencies identified for the Country Director position.
