AREA I:  All New Jersey National Guard (NJNG) Technicians

AREA II:  All Members of the NJNG

 

 

If a New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG) member is selected, the person must transfer to the NJARNG, and may be required to attend U.S. Army Basic Training.  Applicant may contact an Army National Guard Recruiter.

 

If the individual selected is currently on a title 10 tour no action can be taken until he/she is released from tour.

This is a Dual Status Excepted Technician position in the New Jersey Army National Guard.

MILITARY POSITION:  Any Aviation Unit  or Aviation Supporting Unit in the New Jersey Army National Guard.

 

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP STATUS:  Employment in this position requires concurrent military assignment to a compatible military position in the New Jersey National Guard in one of the following military specialty codes:

MUST HAVE BR: 15  *Excludes 150A and 151A

 

LEVEL OF CLEARANCE/INVESTIGATION:  MUST BE ABLE POSSESS A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Duties

DUTIES:  Pilots utility helicopters to conduct tactical and homeland security/disaster response missions.  Able to conduct Air Movement, Air Assault, and other associated utility helicopter missions.
