Reclamation has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisory approval.
 
Promotion to the Full Performance Level:  The career ladder promotion potential of this position is the GS-11 level.  However, this position may be filled at a lower grade. If so, when and if it is determined that a subsequent promotion is warranted, it may be made without further competition.  Promotion up to and including the GS-11 level is neither guaranteed nor automatic.

Duties

You will ultimately:
 
-Acquire, exchange, and dispose of real property involving transactions with both Government and private lands.
 
-Process use authorizations.
 
-Determine that clear title is available for various lands.
 
-Prepare all realty documents and correspondence related to realty transactions.
 
-Prepare, maintain and preserve all realty records.
 
-Manage and coordinate difficult and complex realty transactions and use authorizations which may involve relocation, negotiations with uncooperative landowners, and litigation.
