This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) with duties in the "Professional" work category and at the Senior work level.
The organizational location of this position is: AFISRA, NASIC, Space, Missiles and Force Intelligence Group, Ballistic Missile Analysis Squadron, Ballistic Missiles Sub-System Flight, Wright Patterson AFB OH.

· Serves as national authority in the review, evaluation, collations, and analysis of intelligence data to determine the characteristics of foreign offensive ballistic missile Guidance & Control (G&C) and sensor subsystems and the integration of threat data into high fidelity treat representative models and simulations, and as such advises HQ USAF, AFISRA, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and NASIC systems personnel in this area.
· Initiates plans, programs, and research required for development of methodologies for the integrated analysis of G&C and sensor data; formulates new analytic approaches to model flight behavior of these systems; presents final coordinated plans for approval with recommendations for resources required, including contractual services.
· Establishes requirements for specialized intelligence information and provides guidance for collection of intelligence information based on knowledge of gaps in the information base, initiates requests and suggests sources or methods of collection to improve or acquire specific data.
· Serves as senior flight analyst on foreign ballistic missile G&C and sensor subsystems and integrated modeling simulation and effectiveness assessment development.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
