The Office of Management is seeking a motivated and highly-qualified candidate for an exciting full-time permanent position located in the Office of Acquisition and Project Management (APM), Office of Property Management, Personal Property Policy Division, in Washington D.C.

As a Supervisory Industrial Property Management Specialist, you will:

  • Manage the formulation of DOE nationwide government contract property under DOE facility management and other prime DOE contracts and DOE operational personal property;
  • Formulate, interpret, review, and revise  personal property management policies, standards, procedures, guidelines and related reporting systems;
  • Provide DOE contractors'  implementation of property control systems from acquisition through disposal;
  • Supervise a staff of Industrial Property Management Specialists.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position is include:

  1. Developing, interpreting, and applying policies, regulations, and procedures relating to personal property management.
  2. Planning and coordinating complex Department-wide projects, studies, surveys, and assessments for personal property management.
  3. Formulating personal property management standards, procedures, guidelines.
  4. Reviewing and recommending personal property management legislation, Federal regulations and Executive Orders which regulate personal property process for all Governmental departments.

1. Knowledge of Federal policies, regulations and procedures relating to personal property management.

2. Ability to develop personal property and/or property management policy and guidance to support Department/Agency mission accomplishment.

3. Ability to integrate technical expertise in conducting reviewing and appraisals of personal property management functions/systems.

4. Ability to provide technical guidance and interpretation of complex personal property management policy, both orally and in writing.
