Position Summary: To serve as primary point of contact to the division chief/deputy for all administrative support programs such as task management, Goverment Travel Card (GTC) program, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Goverment Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program Automated Data  Processing Equipment (APDE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program,etc. Also serves as liaison with personnel flights on personnel issues and assists in oversight of organization manpower resources requirements.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Directly assists the division chief/deputy in the management of all administrative support program functions.
  • Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
  • Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison on military and civilian personnel issues.
  • Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
  • Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:  At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-06) or equivalent. Specialized experience is experience determining short and long-term organizational manning.Requires experience utilizing office software excel, access and powerpoint.

TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) Restrictions for GS Positions:  Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-06 or higher grade within the Federal Civil Service (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) to be considered for (referral).  The purpose of TIG restrictions is to prevent excessively rapid promotions in competitive service GS positions and to protect competitive principles.

 

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.  You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
