Treasury headquarters, the Departmental Offices, has responsibility for formulating policy and the overall management of the Department of the Treasury. We are seeking an experienced Analyst with a focus on financial and project management to support our project management teams. This position is a member of the Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) team that reports to the Treasury Chief Information Officer. EBS manages HR Connect, the premier HR Line of Business solution for the Federal government as well as other Department of Treasury enterprise-wide solutions. The applicant must have a solid foundation in both financial management and contracting in order to provide the analytical support on which the project teams depend. You will work with teams of diverse, experienced professionals with backgrounds in project management, IT and Human Resources, all working for the success of the Treasury shared services solutions. 
This position is in a small office, with top staff members who work on a wide array of interesting issues. The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

  • Coordinate all aspects of project budget development and execution within EBS.  
  • Develop various complex cost models in order to identify product costs, analyze and project product/project performance. 
  • Develop the e300 annual business case submission to OMB. 
  • Plan, execute, and oversee all financial and budgetary aspects of existing contracts and contractors.
  • Prepare budget projections relating to upcoming contracts and projects.
