Incumbent serves as the national expert for SAP development and the associated business areas in order to operate FPI’s 107 factories and support its 4000 users. The areas in which the incumbent must be an expert are as follows:
- ABAP Programming Language.
- Business Information Warehouse.
- SAP Data Transfer using DXOB and IDOC Technology.
- Mercator Data Transformation.
- Finance and Costing.
- Materials Management.
- Sales and Distribution.
- Production Planning.
- Inmate Payroll in a Factory Environment.
Projects and assignments will cover a wide-range of development covering the design, development, implementation and support of many business applications to include an intranet, electronic data exchange with other government agencies and private vendors, data warehousing, inmate payroll systems and enterprise resource planning.

You must have IT related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

You must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-grade (or equivalent). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.

WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT:
