Specialized experience: To Qualify applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GG/GS-13). Specialized experience is defined as:
advice to the senior officer for the organization on all matters pertaining to personnel,
operations, logistics, economic analysis, plans, programs, budgets and
infrastructure. Experience in
independently and simultaneously prioritizing, planning, coordinating,
organizing, leading, implementing and monitoring multiple complex projects for
the organization; manage and direct the development, coordination and implementation
plans for the World Class Cyber OPFOR (WCCO); supervise assigned staff and
delegating authority and responsibility to others as needed.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas
- Ability to serve as a staff advisor
- Ability to plan and coordinate
- Ability to interpret guidelines, regulations, directives and policies
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to supervise, counsel and evaluate
- Technical knowledge and experience
NOTE: Creditable specialized experience may include previous military experience; experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower grade in the series.
There is no substitution of education for experience at this level.

Condition of Employment:
All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on SSBI and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
TDY travel may be less than 25% of work schedule.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
