This position is located at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, CA. You will be assigned to multiple, complex and frequently urgent design projects. Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Established and updates a resource library of furnishing, office furniture, draperies, wall coverings, finishes, colors, etc.

· Prepares and oversees vendor sketches, perspectives, or detailed plans to scale showing color schemes, furniture, furnishings and wall décor for all projects requiring interior design service.

· Inspects the physical installation of products in construction and renovation projects related to interior design in order to ensure contractual compliance.

· Prepares furniture layout and design.

· Orders products, materials and services.

· Manages and tracks transaction from initial purchase through receipt and/or installation of project.

· Maintains files of transactions or projects complete with drawings, specifications, budget and cost accounting information.

· Monitors, modifies and maintains an overall directional graphics and standardized signage system for the health care system.

· Coordinates with representatives such as light architecture, mechanical and structural engineering as well as landscape architecture.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
