JOB SUMMARY:

The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.

Forge Fitness is a state of the art fitness training facility located on Picatinny Arsenal in Northwest New Jersey. Forge is operated by U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation. Forge provides a variety of activities for self-improvement including: aerobic classes, sports, yoga, karate, as well as more traditional gym activities such as weight lifting and cardiovascular development.

DUTIES:

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory;receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.

Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.

Plans,conducts, publicizes and arranges for special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.

Perform other duties assigned.

Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. 


 

 

Conditions of employment:

1. A one-year probationary period may be required.

2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.

3. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check. 

4. Successfully complete all required background checks.

 

5. Satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
