The incumbent serves as a Staff
Psychologist for the Mental Health and Behavioral Science Service (MHBSS) specializing
in the provision of outpatient psychotherapy services in the Outpatient Mental
Health Clinic at the Keene, New Hampshire Community Based Outpatient Clinic
(CBOC). This position reports to the Associate Chief of the Mental Health and
Behavioral Science Service (psychologist). The incumbent is responsible for the
provision of outpatient psychotherapy and will be knowledgeable and skilled in
the delivery of evidenced-based psychotherapies (EBP) including those EBPs used
for PTSD and depression. Services are recovery-oriented, patient-centered, and
evidence-based meeting a wide range of psychological, social, emotional, behavioral,
and interpersonal concerns of patients. These services contribute significantly
to the health and well-being of the veterans served by this agency. Decisions are
made exercising wide latitude and independent judgment.
Clinical Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Provide a range of therapeutic interventions including short and long term psychotherapy, individual and
