The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-13. The actual grade at which an applicant may be
selected for this vacancy is in the range of GS-11 to GS-13. The Professional Standards Board (a
peer-review group) will review the selected candidates education and
experience and recommend the grade and step at which the candidate will be
placed. The salary is based on the grade
and step approved for the selected candidate.

This full time permanent Neuropsychologist is located in the Minneapolis VA Health Care System's Mental Health Service Line, Specialty Services Program. The neuropsychologist will provide full battery and screening assessments for a variety of cognitive disorders, consult and provide clinical services including psychotherapy, and participate in the practicum, intern and postdoctoral resident training program (e.g., teaching seminars in the Neuropsychology Training Seminar). Part of the incumbent's duties will include completion of neuropsychological evaluations for Compensation and Pension (C&P) Examinations requested by the VA Regional Office and provision of neuropsychological services on site (or via telehealth) to the Twin Cities/Metro area Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Additional assessments (i.e., obesity, transplant and impotency evaluations, personality and emotional functioning assessments and Mental Health Service Line general intakes) may be required based on access demands and workload productivity. This position may include weekend and evening hours
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM, subject to change based on the needs of the agency
Salary: To be determined by Professional Standard Board of your peers and based on your education, experience, and professional accomplishments.
