The selectee serves as the Plans and Programs Coordinator to the Dean of Admissions and Director of Admissions for the Office of Admissions and reports directly to the Director of Strategic Outreach located at the U.S Naval Academy.  The Plans and Programs Coordinator proves policy guidance and advice to the Director of Strategic Outreach on a daily basis and provides input for conceptualizing, formulating, marketing, and executing a national strategy to brand and effect awareness of the Naval Academy. 

 

Duties

 

The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Manage marketing programs sponsored and hosted by the Dean of Admissions that involve Naval Academy outreach and marketing programs nationwide
  • Provide strategic direction and management oversight of Educator Orientation Visits
  • Integrate planning, management, and execution of annual flagship summer seminar training sessions for rising high school seniors
  • Work closely with Dean/Director of Admissions to establish and/or change policy and procedures associated with each outreach marketing program event
