The Chillicothe VA Medical Center is recruiting physicians to fill the following vacancies in our Mental Health Care Line:

Inpatient Acute Psychiatry – two full-time positions are currently available that will provide Monday through Friday coverage on a 28-bed unit located at the parent facility. Additional duties for these positions include rotating assignments as Psychiatric Officer of the Day and emergency call roster coverage.

Substance Abuse Treatment Program – one full-time position exists that will provide weekday oversight of and provide care to Veterans enrolled in the Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program. Though not required, physicians with a background in addiction medicine are encouraged to apply. Additional duties for this position include provision of care to residents of the facility’s Domiciliary, and rotating assignments as Psychiatric Officer of the Day and emergency call roster coverage.

Outpatient Mental Health – one full-time position is available to provide weekday outpatient Mental Health services, in both individual and group settings, to our Veterans.  Care will be provided in face-to-face clinics or via telehealth, as this position may be based at the Chillicothe facility or one of our Community Based Outpatient Clinics.  Interested individuals should contact Eric Cepek, Health Care Recruiter, at (740) 466-4613, for additional information on available locations.
