Forester (Presale/Administration) position is responsible for the completion of preparations required prior to offering timber for sale.

Reviews, compiles, and analyzes field data.
Evaluates and analyzes project sale information and conducts preliminary field reconnaissance.
Assembles and reviews the timber sale contract package.
Evaluates and analyzes the project sale folder information and conducts a preliminary field reconnaissance.
Arranges for interviews of prospective purchasers and explains contract clauses, road development, and cutting practices.
Completes environmental assessment reports and environmental impact statements.
Prepares and ensures quality of documentation and records acceptable for final appraisal, sale contract, and subsequent timber management activities.
