This position has a Basic Requirement for the (2210) series: Experience that demonstrated accomplishment of computer project assignments that required a wide range of knowledge of computer requirements and techniques pertinent to the position to be filled. You must have one year Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private/military sector) giving the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Specialized experience required for this position is:
Knowledge of IT and security architecture principles, standards, trends in technology, industry best practices, and design and functioning of information systems having impact on multiple agency programs.
Demonstrated ability to work with military personnel, contractors, and vendors to complete IT projects on time and within budget.
Experience assisting in completing IT projects and studies.
Assisting with the development, planning, and executing IT programs, policies, and activities related to IT systems and security architecture.
Ability to evaluate IT project management support for both short-term and long-term projects plans, and on critical IT architecture issues.
